We are Integrity Builders, llc but we haven’t always been that.
Matthew Mercado comes from a varied background from Commercial/Residential construction, framer, tile installer, residential and commercial electrician career to Police Officer, Undercover Narcotics, SWAT operator, State Licensed Firearm Instructor, retail business owner and finally to Kloud 9 Renovations https://kloud9-renovations-and-remodeling.ueniweb.com/. Kloud9 primarily focused on medium to large detailed residential remodels. Kloud9 has built additions to homes and has teamed up with L.A Builders in the beginning on several new construction projects.
L.A. Johnston also comes from a varied background of Forest Ranger, to National Sales Manager, to Allstate Insurance Agent, to Salesperson of windows, doors, molding, to Superintendent for Aurthur Rutenberg Homes, to Building Contractor L.A. Builders https://labuildsit.com/ L.A. has built approximately 50 large custom homes and multiple commercial buildings along with remodeling and additions for both residential and commercial customers. L.A. has over 18 years of building experience.
L.A. was nearing retirement when he Matthew began working on multiple projects together. L.A and Matthew are both State Licensed contractors and they formed a new company in late 2023 after a mutual friend and subcontractor suddenly died bringing us together. We found out we both had mutual values and trust issues of others. It seems like Aaron (our mutual friend) was pushing us together from heaven because the more we talked the more we very much alike. After a little while of planning and a lot of paperwork, we successfully formed Integrity Builders and have been blessed with great referrals and plenty of business.
Integrity Builders is successfully registered with a few local banks as preferred builders and have other New Homes we are in process of Building currently.
From Matthew’s police background and L.A’s ethics, we’ve come to be known with Escambia County as the company that upholds the most ethics and holds other contractors to the same standards. We make light of it and laugh, but in all seriousness, this is why we call our company Integrity Builders and our customers will attest to the same.
We are both Licensed as Certified Contractors for building or remodeling Residential or Commercial projects anywhere in the State of Florida, many of which are visible on both our websites. We are also VA approved. We look forward to meeting everyone and are blessed to work for each and every client we obtain.
